Cork pop-rockers Time is a Thief have today unveiled their new video for single Our Game, lead-off to their new album, launching Friday at Cyprus Avenue.

Great pop tune in the TIAT style, strident and confident, backed up by polished yet edgy production and guttural bass. Nothing wrong with pop when done well, much contrary to a lot of opinions, and this surely points to an increasing grasp on hook and melody for the Cork quintet, bust out with a vigour that does their live show justice. It’s also very much their own stamp on things, where their previous E.P. would have left an aftertaste of Green Day among others.

The launch gig for TIAT’s new album is at Cyprus Avenue, July 1st.
