Therapy? to Release Live Album
Posted on March 3, 2010 by Mike McGrath Bryan
Therapy? have released word today of three special London shows at the Monto Water Rats Theater in March. That’s not the issue here. What is the thing, is that it’s being recorded for Therapy?’s first ever live album release, it would seem (an audio mix of their Belfast gig in 2003 exists on CD, but only as an extra disc for a special edition of live DVD Scopophobia).
Here’s the blurb:
Therapy? are pleased to announce 3 special London shows running the 29th, 30th and 31st March 2010.The shows are in the famous Monto Water Rats theatre and will be recorded for the bands first official live album release. Each gig will feature a different setlist drawn from the bands extensive recording career so expect a diverse selection of songs.
Needless to say, with twenty years, twelve albums and a veritable treasure trove of B-Sides and rarities to be mined, not to mention a fearsome live rep, this one ought to be quite the stormer.
Here’s a rarely-seen slice of the boys in black live in 1997, with a Paddy’s Day appearance on MTV (Click to the vid on YouTube to find the subsequent parts).
