Northern Irish alt-rock legends Therapy? have unveiled the title and release date for their 20th anniversary live album, recorded in March of this year at the Monto Water Rats venue in London.

We’re Here to the End will be a 2CD set chronicling three days’ worth of gigs, encompassing their entire recorded history, to see release through DR2 on the 5th of November in Europe and the 8th of November in the U.K. and Ireland. The release will be accompanied by a live promo video, filmed at the Sonisphere festival at Knebworth.

To celebrate their 20th Anniversary, the band has also announced a special Troublegum-themed show in Vicar St. on November 5th, playing their 1994 pop classic in its entirety.

Meanwhile, the band also are on double-duty at Cyprus Avenue in Cork, for the city’s Jazz Weekend festivities, playing Saturday October 23rd (SOLD OUT)  and Sunday 24th (tickets remaining at PLUGD Records, across from the venue).

Therapy? are of the single most important bands in Irish rock, as proven by a string of sterling, forward-looking albums and a well-deserved live reputation beyond compare; the end result is an unmissable string of shows and what’s looking to be a cracker of a live disc. For a wee sampler of the Therapy? live experience, check out the video below of a recent gig in Athens (apologies for the sound quality), and be sure to check these hot slices of audio action:

Therapy? – Stories (Live at Mandela Hall, Belfast, June 6th, 2003)

Therapy? – Dancin’ With Manson (Live at Mandela Hall, May 1st, 2004)

If anybody is heading to the Saturday night gig in Cork, let us know through the contact form and we’ll organise a Drop-d meet up afterwards! See ye up the front! :-D
