Quompilation #2 Launch Party @ Crawdaddy

Quomp 2 launches tomorrow night. A load of bands will be there, and you probably should be too.
Tomorrow night also sees the launch of the Quarter Inch Collective‘s second annual Quompilation album, released exclusively on cassette and download.
The concept is simple – Irish bands cover other Irish bands’ tunes from the previous year. Beautifully simple, and often with fantastic results, as last year’s was full of.
To celebrate, they’ll be coralling a serious amount of the featured bands into one place for the launch party, from 8 ’til late. The cassette will be available on the door, and most likely sell out on the night, so get in early.

Hey! We’re going to be having a big ol’ bash to launch Quompilation #2 on Friday, January 27th in Crawdaddy. It’s a tenner in, there’s loads of bands playing (eight!) and you get a super-exclusive, Hot-Press-keep-calling-it-hipster-bait, cassette when you walk in the door!

Rhino MagicDoors are at 8pm and the first act will be on stage half an hour later. The tapes are very limited so if we run out, we run out. Best to get down early if you want one. We’ll keep the party going until the very early morn and maybe even a little longer.
