Noise, noise and some considered post-punk for the Crane Lane this Thursday.

UK noiseniks Poino make their debut tour of Ireland this week, along with Dublin’s Hands Up Who Wants to Die and Limerick/Cork post-punk outfit Private Underground Residence, and first stop is the Crane Lane Theatre, Cork, tomorrow night.

Poino, featuring members of Buttonhead and Giddy Motors, are on the road following the release of debut album Moan Loose on UK label Horse Arm, describing themselves as a nightmarish cross of the Jesus Lizard and Captain Beefheart. Hands Up Who Wants to Die return to Cork just after the release for free download of their recent remix album, and Private Underground Residence continue their exceptionally well-received return from a quiet 2011 with the release this year of their debut album.

Crane Lane, Thursday, 7euro/6 with a flyer, kickoff 8.30 (EARLY SHOW).
