The Wombats have announced a show at Dublins Academy. Due to demand their May date at Whelans had to be upgraded to the Academy. Now they are to return much to the joy of an even bigger congregation of adoring fans. Tickets go on sale from 9am Thursday 31st July.
In November" The Wombats released their massive debut album" The Wombats present…A Guide to Love" Loss and Desperation. The album has been described as a collection of thirteen irresistibly catchy songs" all shot through with infectious scouse wit.
The bands success to date has been anchored by a hectic touring schedule which has taken the trio to Japan" China" the U.S." Germany" France and Malawi. They made history last year when they became the first unsigned band ever to sell out the 1200 capacity Liverpool Academy.
The Wombats play The Academy on Sunday 9th November.
