Beats in the basement with the return of Demented’s hip-hop night at the Twisted Pepper!
It’s back. We dropped a little news item recently on hardcore promoters Demented Productions‘ hip-hop spin-off night HEAVY on its debut excursion last month, and it appears that they’ve struck it solid, as they’re going regular as of this month, in their new home in the Basement of the Twisted Pepper.
Here’s the blurb:
“HEAVY IS BACK FOR THE NEW YEAR @ MUD in THE TWISTED PEPPER! The good news is that we’re sticking with the basement because it was such good craic last month but the GREAT news is that now we’re going regular. The first Friday of every month, you’ll know where the party is at, HEAVY.
Cheaplist is ever so slightly changed so put your name down and don’t get stung by the man and get down before the stroke of midnight to still get in for €5. After midnight, the door tax goes up to €6. You don’t want to pay €6 and we don’t want you to either so let’s keep it a cool fiver if you start shaking your hoop on the dancefloor before midnight, yeah? Sorted. If you’re on the list, it could be up to €15 and that’s no craic and that’s less booze money so get the name down and all your mate’s names down and don’t even worry about it.
