The next three Friday nights are looking pretty jammed in Fibbers with three solid line-ups approaching.
First off, this Friday coming is Refraction’s debut album launch. The band will be playing the album in its entirety and you can of course pick up a copy there too. The rest of the bill is not too shabby either.
Two piece The Continuous Battle of Order from Belfast will be providing their experimental hail of noise. Check out their album Pttrn Skrs on their bandcamp page now.
Cork grind favourites I’ll Eat Your Face will also be bringing the carnage, and last but not least is fresh faced post rock band Ropemaker from Portlaoise, who, if the scant three tracks on their myspace are anything to go by, will be a delight. Doors at 9pm and at only €5, it’s a steal.
On March 11th Scottish death metal outfit Bonesaw will be arriving, again with an impressive support bill of some of the finest Irish metal. The bill consists of Cork’s [R]evolution of a Sun, Mayo’s filthiest of doom On Pain of Death along with Belfast’s Dwell In Sun, Zombified also from Belfast and grindcore hopefuls Sickener. Doors are at 8.30pm and is €7 admission.
Finally, on March 18th Red Enemy will be launching their new EP. A recent gig with TesseracT provided us with some previews of what to expect and it’s shaping up to be an impressive release. Hero In Error are also on the bill with Fragments, Xenocide, Crows, who recently released their fierce demo tape, and We’re Wolves. Doors are at 8.30pm and is €7 admission.
The following night, Red Enemy will be playing a Cork launch show in An Cruiscin Lan which also includes Hero In Error along with Death of a Salesman, Censura, This City is Flooded and Knock Em Dead.
