New Orleans based band Down featuring Phil Anselmo (ex-Pantera, Superjoint Ritual, Arson Anthem), Pepper Keenan (Corrosion Of Conformity), Kirk Windstein (Crowbar), Rex Brown (Pantera) and Jimmy Bower (EyeHateGod) play the 16th and 17th of June at The Academy. Any fans of Trouble, Black Sabbath, Melvins and Cathedral should sell their grannies for tickets to this.
In 2008 Down played the Ambassador and knocked the planet off it’s axis. NOT to be missed. Really.
