Pine Lodge gets folksy and weird for the arrival of Daphne in the Attic.
Things will be getting weird on the 15th in the Pine Lodge, Myrtleville, as folksmen Daphne in the Attic take to the hills with tents and blankets (“a set of balls” also advised) for a night with fellow folkies The Great Balloon Race and Shane of Mayo.
Daphne have been on a roll of late live, playing everywhere and anywhere available to them, from the Mutant Space festivals at the Roundy (including an RTE session Drop-d was on hand to witness) to the Quad in one of its final gigs.
The Great Balloon Race have just launched an E.P. available for free download from the band’s Bandcamp, and Shane of Mayo will be journeying down for his Cork debut.
October 15th, Pine Lodge, Myrtleville, free in.
