Daphne in the Attic @ The Crane Lane Theatre
The band inspired by a keeper of old folk release their EP in two weeks at the Crane.
Psych-folkers Daphne in the Attic finally release their new EP on December 7th. The outfit’s new record, The Bucket and Shovel, will be aired in its entirety in the intimately spacious atmosphere of the Crane Lane. Support from Dublanders The Northern Drones, making what has become a frequent occurrence for them, a jaunt down to the Crane.
Since coming together, the band has slowly made its way creatively in the Cork scene, finding common souls in bands like the aforementioned Drones and the Altered Hours among others. A favourite of local promoters, and this year, recipients of a live session on RTE Radio One, this one should see them confirm their stature as a band to look out for.
