My name is Niceol Blue, of Niceol Blue and The Copper Soul. Our debut album "Rise" was released internationally in November 11th 2011. I heard about your blog and would like to submit our album for review. I have linked to our bandcamp page above, where you can listen to the album in full. The album "Rise" is a collection of original roots rock songs. It was recorded and engineered in Galway, at The Forge studios, and was mastered by Aidan Foley at Masterlabs in Dublin. The album features the talents of many well known Irish musicians including Cormac Dunne (The Stunning) and Tom Portman (The Bahh Band). It was released on my own independent label 'Rock baby Records', and funded entirely with money raised by busking, gigging, and donations from friends. The Copper Soul live band was fully formed in 2010, and the result is a powerhouse roots rock and soul sound. The band consists of: Eoghan Judge (lead guitar), Karl Clews (bass), Pat Fortune (drums) Jenny O’Brien (keys), and Niceol Blue (vox and rhythm guitar).
